From my house I have a 40ft high streetlight some 100ft from my back yard, in a northerly direction.   I did look but my big light polluting factor meant I didn't see anything Sad  Did you get any more pics Connor to cheer me up?

Great image Conor!  Smiley

One from last night, aurora was visible for many hours, it was still visible after 02.00 when I called it a night. Saw three flashes of lightning too.

Two stunning images Conor and Martin for the conditions out there last night.  I made two separate trips out, the first i got a few images but the second time i was beat by cloud and snow showers.  Heres one of mine from last night, captured in the only decent clear spell that presented itself.  Image taken at a lookout point overlooking the Sperrin Mountains and Gortin village in the valley below, Aurora visible to the right of frame and some nutter sitting at the bench in the freezing cold  Grin

Thanks guys!

Paul, cracking image, I really like the composition of this, I know a nutter when I see one (because I am one myself Smiley), nicely done catching the aurora despite the battle against clouds, that was a really cold nasty night wasn't it. Pity it wasn't clear tonight, there's another geostorm rite now.

Great image Paul, it looks extremely cold there in fact it makes me feel cold just looking at the image.
