I’ve past this many a time and never stopped to take an image so today I opted to stop and taken a few images despite the high winds blowing a gale. The Angel of the North has a wingspan of 54m and is 20m tall and is situated just off the A1 in Gateshead.

Thanks

First shot is stunning Anton, great landscape style and vibrant colours. Like the cloud structure in the second, looks like a corona during a total solar eclipse  Smiley
