Its been a while since I last set the camera up for some star trails so over the weekend the skies were clear so set the camera to take around 150 shoots at 30sec each. The first image was taken in my garden and the second image from my mums garden a few miles away, you can certainly see which area has less light pollution.

Thanks

That's an amazing amount of difference in LP and the magnitude of the stars collected in just several miles. These shots are great Anthony. I've been wanting to do some star trails from a flat location, which I don't have arond here, going to have to travel some I guess. Thanks for sharing.

What a massive difference. Those who live here  in the UK might consider a trip to the Kielder Forest Observatory in the NE.
