These were taken from my NLC vantage point about 9pm. I thought the sky looked a funny yellow colour earlier just as the sun set so I headed out in the car. The first one is an 18mm shot and the second a 55mm shot.

Interesting ... but I think it's only the usual horizon haze, a bit yellower than usual because of the abnormally good transparency. I though twilight was "unusually" long (for the time of year) both dusk and dawn last night, for the same reason ... and I'm certainly not complaining, apart from a breeze which was a little irritating at times last night was just about perfect for observing anything but Moon & planets!
