Hello all,

Finally managed to get on here, thanks to Paul and MarkT for their help.

As for me, i live in north nottinghamshire, currently under a deep blanket of snow (up to the top of the cars wheels and that's not with drifting!!)

My job enables me to travel around the UK and get to see so many cool atmospheric phenomena which is cool for me, the more rare the better.

Will update my posts on here as frequently as possible, i believe that a passion should be shared.

Now trying to get into the technical aspects of weather, but it's a steep learning curve but with the aid of this forum, should be great.

For now....

Cheers Dave

Finally Dave!  Welcome!  You made it here.  Smiley

Myself and Dave go back years - 20 nearly (!), we met at university.  We've both always had an interest in all things astronomical, photographic and meteorological and have spent many a time having a good natter on such things.  As such, i'm sure you'll feel quite at home here Wink

Welcome Dave. Of course a potential hazard of our recent weather is the possibility of sub-zero temperatures freezing up peoples brains! Check out this true story of a lady who dialled 999 to report the theft of her snowman!
