Got a few images of a very nice Moon Halo visible all evening here, though at times the fog was so dense it became blended with it. This is just one of the images I got with a Fisheye add-on lens attached to the 18-55mm kit lens.

You've been getting some great Moon Halo shots of late John. The fisheye attachment seems to work very well.

Thanks very much Richard, we are certainly getting the weather for them at the minute. Have just been treated to lovely sundogs and piller presently. Here's another taken later in the night when the fog cleared (couldn't sleep) notice Orion at the bottom.

Very nice images John, I really like the quality to the second image - very cool indeed. I saw that halo too, it was visible for hours however there was no fog here at all, amazing what a few tens of miles cam make to the local weather across the Lough. Couple of shots at 18mm, the lens is too small for these optics, need a wide angle.

Lovely images John. The halo was very prominent over Belfast for a couple of hours.
