WOW, they could ruin a nicely landscaped yard in no time at all, and your right about a muddy mess that would become. I have a friend who lives in Mobile, Alabama, and they bow hunt wild boar every season and he has come up with some whoppers. I don't know if they hunt boar over there or if that's just a wild west thing in the States!

I don't think anyone, other than licensed people can kill these Boar,Richard. The Forest Commission have stepped up the culling,I can't find any information that tells me it's legal. for anyone to hunt them. You'd need a powerful rifle anyway and we have very strict gun law here.
