Late last night while waiting for Comet Hartley to rise I took advantage of a very warm, clear night and great conditions.

Auriga 50 mm  50 sec f/3.2 ISO 1600



Milky Way and dust lanes south of Cygnus 50 mm  40 sec f/3.2 ISO1600



My first good look at Orion this Fall  50 mm  50 sec f/3.2 ISO 1600

Lovely images Richard, at last I got a reasonable shot of Orion, not only M42 but a hint of The Flame Nebula as well Grin
