Those are some very intense colors. That's one of the brightest secondary bows I think I've ever seen. As you said, it must have been really something in person!

Thanks for the feedback everyone, and nice zoom capture Conor of the primary base. Richard, it really was something in the 'flesh', one of those events which look amazing with the naked eye but which look lifeless on camera, in some cases an image isn't better than a 1000 words, glad I reacted quickly and got a record of it anyway, just wish I had been in the countyside to catch it over a field, trees, or open road. Next time I will be more switched on , cheers.
