Thanks for the replies.

Martin it must have 15 to 20 degrees tall from here, one of the tallest I've seen in a while. As said, it got the redder as the sun set but we couldn't get anywere to stop and the hard shoulder isn't such a good idea! Jonathan did try one of the roundabouts but no hard shoulder there either so we gave up.

That's a lovely image Conor, I like the verticle approach.

Richard, Jonathan was driving so my hands were free, it isn't such a good idea to try that stunt with so much traffic about!
