A few shots from me and martins adventure last night to the north coast. I wasnt expecting much in the way of results as my tri-pod is broken and the wind was causing alot of shake. Anyway heres what I pulled from the bag. Some much potential up there

Great images man, the first with the Milky Way with clouds on ether side and Downhill House in the foreground looks fantastic. That was a great night shooting, can't wait to try it again under a clear sky with a little moonlight. Here's a few I got...

Thanks everyone for the comments. John, the golden light is the light pollution from the distant town lights, I tried adjusting the levels to tone down the colour but the results looking boring so I left it 'natural' so to speak - that's the way the camera recorded the ambient light in the exposure so I left it alone. It was actually extremely dark there facing N. The last image is 172 sec's at ISO1600, and it was raining at the time too so not great conditions at all. A clear night with a bright Moon would do wonders for those scenes. Hope to get up again soon  Smiley

Lovely shots there gents. In that first one it seems as though the clouds have parted straight down the middle of the composition especially for the shot!
