Great shots John, nice clear, sharp wide angle. Definitely see the open clusters. We're all but lost in the clouds here until mid week they say, might be it for me.

I had all but forgotten this image of Hartley from the other morning as I didn't have much hope of catching it with the moonlit and cloud-strewn skies, but it still trying to show itself none the less.

Becoming nearly impossible now to get this guy on an image with the bright moonlight. This could be my last go at it as it's also getting very low from my back garden. This image is one of a few taken around 03.30UT on November 19th, with the moon still about 20 degrees in the west. The bright star at bottom right is Sirius, so this shows just how low the comet is getting from our lats.

Great catch John, I always enjoy the objects in your photos, houses, hedges, antennae, it really gives them a lot of character. Hartley definitely is getting difficult to see, you really have to know where to look.
