I've been back to Donegal for a holiday last week. We were treated to some lovely late summer sunshine for the second half of last week which was a surprise, although temperatures struggled to reach 20C.  I took every opportunity to get out and about with the camera.

Rossnowlagh beach at high tide on a windy day.

Creevy Pier

Sunset over Murvagh Beach

Ballyshannon shortly after sunrise

Spied this very bright double rainbow one evening just before dinner otherwise i would have tried to get to a better location

Bundoran

And something a little different

Thanks for the reply Richard, it is a great location and there are parts alot more rugged than you see here, i treat it as a second home and there is still lots of nooks and crannies to explore yet. Smiley

Fantastic images Paul, each and every one of them captures something special about the area. I like the way you used the twisting path in 7. I absolutely love the first image showing the waves - stunning postcard scene!. Nice double bows as well. Thanks for posting these Paul  Smiley

Awesome images Paul. I love the colours in the sunset images and the moon peeking through the gap in the last one.

Could you see the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?  Grin
