Hi John, thanks for posting these great images. I love the contrast between the dark storm clouds and the countryside below, also great job getting those large billowing updraughts/cells exploding with such fine detail. Looks like an inflow feature, perhaps wall cloud in the 2nd last image. Without doubt you had two days of good chasing there

Great set of photos again John, I agree with Martin on the beautiful contrast between countryside and clouds. # 4 catches my eye with the closeup of convection!

These are excellent John, you've captured some really vigorous convection there-love no.4. I bet those towers were just flying up at the time. I was hoping to see something like this yesterday. lovely views across the countryside in the last few.

Thanks for nice coments. It was a great day for convection and I tried another location on Wednesday but on the way back home saw pilleus across a Cb and went back to Tuesday's location and it's a better all round view and higher,I actually look down on the other hill which is 2 miles away so I'll stick with this one and there's a corn field there too for contrast and the car is right by me so all in all the perfect place and only 1 mile away-not much chasing there Martin Lol..only 1 mile .
