Beautiful image Richard! - that's a good one for SW  Smiley, what a view you have in that direction, the trees really add to the image. The crescent Moon with ES is fantastic.

Beautiful composition Richard with the orange 'moody' horizon & silhouetted trees plus Venus dominating over Regulus at top.

You've also got 30 Eta Leonis to the upper right of the frame, too.

Thanks for the comments. We sure have been having some beautiful weather here in Oregon the past week, hope it continues. I took this shot again, off my porch, sent it to SW, but you know how that goes, so many, so few!. Here is the Moon and Venus of course, Mars, Saturn and the Constellation Leo. Really looking forward to the conjunction in August, and the Persieds on the same night!!
