A few hours of sitting on the radar yet me thinks! What im hoping for is the chance of catching a lightning shot tonight maybe-now that would make me very happy. Grin

Good news that you are seeing Cbs Paul, I wonder if those match with the red radar echoes. Just frontal cloud here at the moment, keep an eye on those cb bases if you can see them.

I'm thinking the same thing Paul, late evening/after sunset and possibly after dark, there could be some lightning, ESTOFEX have the t-storm box over NI.

Sorry Padraig lol - I get confused sometimes when I'm posting quickly on forums. Great you got a visual obsv, seems chances are very high of more funnels and a tornado in the Republic this afternoon and evening, keep us posted on what's happening  Smiley

Paul, you are spot on  Smiley - getting excited from looking constantly at the radar and sferics as well as enjoying the build up on the forums, there's a good buzz today, if we don't get rewarded today look at GFS for Wed and Thurs  Smiley (please don't downgrade).

Rain has finally cleared here after dumping, at a guess 30-40mm, could be some flooding about.      The sferics charts are showing nothing over Ireland this past few hours-very quiet..... Sad

I think it's game over - a great let down indeed, lack of solar heating killed the day.  Angry

Let's see what Wed/Thurs brings.
