Conor and I went up to Glenshane Pass, some good convection there for a time, then went to the top of Slieve Gallion - sustained strong winds and powerful gale force gusts, so strong that we could lean forward into the wind and stay supported, very strong for the time of year and quite impressive. Water logged roads and some tree damge on the ground too.

Great shots Conor!,- hard to hold the camera steady up on that mountain, that was good going. Glad you got the damage shots - excellent. Let's see what Wed's low brings...

Yikes!, that's quite a bit! Look at those sferics and radar over Scotland today, what a show they got! Was at Portrush this evening, it was actually more windy in Maghera than at the coast

Cheers Mark, pity we didn't get the action today but it was fun anyway to see early Sun morning convection and experience those gales so early in the year. Wish I had went to the north coast during the morning, could have been waterspouts there. Paul, it was very much like Autumn wasn't it. Scotland got an incredible show on that cold front/squall line, there could have been low-topped supercells embedded in that, would love to see images of those storms
