I suppose this is weather due to the extremely fog we intercountered last night during our nlc watch. Visibility was down to around 10meters, worst I have ever seen. When we stopped to grab some shots we knew the fog was perfect conditions to take some shots of a ' glory ' Here is what I got. Martin in first shot and I in the second.

Fantastic images Conor - those turned out fabulous. That was the best glory I've ever seen - quite a wild time standing there with the fog blowing by like drifting snow  Smiley

Wow guys, 10 meters visibility must be a really dense fog! Fun shots  Smiley

I remember groping my way home from school in a fog so dense I couldn't see my hand if I held it out at arm's length. Probably under 0.5m visibility. Traffic was completely stopped ... this would have been early 60s, I was still at primary school.
