Nice images Conor, those turned out great, the first one is a beauty! - fantastic detail in those 300mm shots.

Some of the best one's yet Coner, that first one actually shows the reflection of the NLC's in the lake. great stuff!!

Thanks guys. The focus wasnt great on the zoomed in shots ( prob to busy singing in my head to phil collins to remember to check ) so I had to sharpen and it through of some of the detail. The reflections arent bad, but really need still water to pull that trick off, all in all a good nights shooting!

Nice images, the water certainly adds to them. I only took a few as it wasn't a great display anyway and I had more cloud. Anyway I had the feeling somebody was watching me so I went home.

Excellent images from last nights display! The water and trees really make for a nice scene with the NLCs, great location and the reflections are class.

All very attractive shots.
Feeling someone was watching you was intriguing to read,John . You can't really explain why either.

Great shots John. Those must have been taken closer to dawn than most, as you say, because of the redness in the clouds near the horizon. Good job!

Well caught John!, I was clouded out but could see them glowing through the clouds before dawn so it must have been a very intense display indeed, perhaps a good omen for another tonight.
