I'll just post both of these images in one thread to save time.

A generic but pretty sunset. Hopefully our rainy season is about over, we've had 58" of rain since 1 Jan, a lot even for the Oregon Coast.



A shot with Castor and Pollux, Mars, The Beehive and the Envisat Satillite thrown in.

Richard, the first one with the crep rays and colours is absolutely beautiful - nice work!. Love the colour and structure to the cumulus fields with great depth.

Yes, the first one has an excellent composition & technically it seems spot on as far as I can tell from the small format posted here!
