Hi

This morning at 7am on his way to work Galway AC member Gavin Duffy spotted a wonderful Sun Pillar, not knowing what it was he grabbed his mobile and took this shot http://www.flickr.com/photos/galwayastronomyclub/4501793353/sizes/o/ . Now it as you can see its not a great photo but it must  have been a wonderful sight as many of his work mates were asking him what this was. Unfortunately I did not see it.

Best I've seen- he may not have known what it was but at least he had enough about him to realise it was something special. Well done him.
