I made a return to Gortin Glen forest this morning to check out the conditions and get some images. The road was clear and it was obvious it has been snowploughed, because of this there was absolutely nowhere to pull in, all lay-bys had a large ridge of snow preventing access.  So I ended up driving up and down the road taking images out the side window and through the windscreen while trying to drive, not ideal but some have turned out ok I think. Lovely scenes created up there from blowing snow.

Wow, those are fantastic Paul - the 1st capture is incredible. Well done on the photo shoot - that's way better than anything I got!

Great shots Paul, very beautiful and serene. What does the low stand for, steep or low gear, or something like that?

Thanks very much Martin and Richard, Richard there's an s covered by snow there, its a warning to drivers to 'slow' down for dangerous bends. I guess the snowplough driver wasn't gonna risk going any tighter to the verge as there is some steep drop-offs on this road. Either that or he was drunk! lol  Smiley
