Dodgy Sparrow Hawk Photo

This sparrow Hawk landed on the fence,I grabbed the camera and took a quick shot frm the dining room through the patio  doors window, then as I was getting the settings right it must have seen me and was off UGH. Once again early morning,not much light about but a sparrow hawk's a sparrow hawk lol,so I may as well post it.I've seen it here before - that hedge next to  it has 30-odd sparrows in it and it was deathly hush in there till this bird flew off,then all hell was let loose lol and then a little head popped up out of the hedge and another and another, all looking up  in the sky - what a life ,they must get stressed out.

Well caught there John- you did good to get a shot of the sparrowhawk at all, I can just imagine the poor little sparrows hiding in the hedge

Lovely capture John!, I've seen these here before but could never get an image due to their distance, that was a real treat getting it at close range like that - well done.

Great shot given the conditions and need for quick timing John. The creatures are still a marvel to look at! Mother Nature at her best!!

Nice shot! We occassionally get these in our garden, though i've never managed to photo one...
