With all of our wet and cloudy weather of the past several weeks, I was very happy to see that the sun is stiil there and setting north of the numerous trees on our property. George Harrison said it best in one of my all time favorite songs when he wrote "Here comes the Sun". I also grabbed some shots of the ever-closing pair of Venus and Mercury. I probably won't see them any closer because it's suppose to rain for the next week. We have two seasons here on the Oregon Coast, Summer and Winter, and because I can see the sun set, it's officially Summer for me!!

A bit of a stretch, but I got Venus, Mercury and Orion in the same image.

Lovely shots Richard, looks like you have a nice dark location there for stargazing.

Lovely shots. I really like the colour and composition in the sunset one at the top.

Lovely shots all Richard, though I'm especially impressed that you can get all the way from Mercury to Betelgeuse in one shot across a range of background darkness!
