A showery day with a few sunny intervals in the morning. The Sun has a huge active area AR1057 not far from the meridian, this is visible to the naked eye (through eclipse glasses!)

Here it is in white light ...

Just three minutes later, a flare was in progress:

There is an interesting area of activity near the meridian in the southern hemisphere, though without associated white light features:
