Thanks for that Martin thats great. Well curiosity got the better of me earlier on and I stumped up the £3.50 for a months subscription to see what the fuss was about. I have to admit its pretty good with high res, lightning overlay and gfs data overlay and precipitation type eg. rain, sleet, hail or snow. Another feature I liked was the radar archive going back to 2005. Its just a pity a feature like this isnt free. Showing sleet and snow over the Sperrins atm

It's probably late wednesday onward before i'm likely to feel the cold air digging in. Could well be some concentrated showers blowing through the cheshire gap so theres a slim glimmer of the white stuff for me then...

That sounds great Paul - worth every penny by the sound of things, would be cool to save any radar grabs from interesting storms we get in the future. Anyone see the BBC TV forecast at 18.30? - looks like NI is going to get it bad, they even said 'very severe weather' lol. Like the look of Tues and Wed with strong Nly winds and snow showers, great photo opps are possible. I would like to catch snow drifts and blizzards. UTV seem to think it's Summer now

BBC Newsline just gave a foot of snow for the Sperrins lol. Will believe it when I see it. I heard a report of snow on the Belfast hills already.

You can use a variety of credit/debit cards Padraig and also Paypal which I used, the only thing Padraig is the coverage of the Republic is not whole as a chunk of the south-west doesnt seem to be covered by radar to include parts of Cork, Clare and all of Kerry which is a shame really. They dont seem to be using any Irish radar stations to complete the map. I dont know if it would appeal to you given this info.

Snowing over Maghera now, big flakes embedded within the rain. The rain itself is heavy and prolonged with the garden already water logged.

Was up Glenshane Pass with Conor tonight - quite wild!!, heavy snow and blizzard-like conditions with small snow drifts. Going to be bad on Tues.
