Yet another calm day with a transparent blue sky! The best weather in this part of the world is usually April/May; prolonged periods of "summer" weather are unusual at any time of the year but unheard of in early March! At least the temperatures are bearable: -5C overnight, +10C in the afternoons.

The Sun's appearance is similar to yesterday. Prominences are a bit more interesting, the filaments remain, the only significant change is a small bright plage near the NE limb.

Disc detail images to be added later (large mosaic of northern area, gonna take time to finish processing)

Transparency excellent, seeing peculiar - sometimes sharp, sometimes very blurred with frequent sharp transitions & not much in between; boiling consistently moderate. Temp +8C, wind S force 1-2.

Excellent images Brian, there's something very spectacular about the 2nd last, love it!

The weather has been fantastic, today is actually WARM, I had to take my coat off and enjoy the Sun's heat, think I have an early start on the year's tan.
