Yesterday evening (Feb 21st) the sky was unexpectedly clear but the moon was being a nuisance, so I decided to image it .... Left it until it was getting a bit low in the west so the seeing was very woobly but still managed to get a couple of reasonable images.

Ptolemaeus & friends:

2010 Feb 21, 2329 UT.

Alpine Valley region:

2010 Feb 21, 2327 UT.

Celestron CPC1100, prime focus, Astronomik Planet Pro 742 IR pass filter, Imaging Source DMK41 camera. Transparency good, seeing poor. Temp -3C, wind S force 1-2.

Excellent shots Brian!  Was thinking of having a go myself but the sky went hazy after sunset.
