Nice images John.
I'd say its a good spot for photography in the summer.
The one through the wall is interesting a good perspective. At F16-F22 the DOF would be increased and the wall and background would sharpen up nicely - you'd probably need a tripod though.

Lovely images John, like the capture of the walker going through the narrow path between the trees. That would be a promising location for capturing a snowfall.

Cheers guys. I think you're right John, but I had not tripod, and the settings were getting decidedly borderline for handholding, if I'd not had IS I don't think I'd have managed it.

You're right Martin, just getting there would be impossible were it snowing...
