Hey Tyler, thanks very much for that, it was a good display, the irony is that the new camera I ordered should arrive this week - but too late for the aurora!.

Mike was telling me you guys had a great photo session after sunset with those cool clouds captured along with the night shots, sounds like a great session, with Chris and Jude there too. Thanks for sharing the image, it shows the cloud you had to deal with so hats off to your dedication!. I'm sure there will be better nights to come this year. Cheers

Thanks Roman  Smiley

Hey Martin, nice capture!  Just landed back home after my week in Iceland - saw your image on SW when I was out there.  I couldn't believe it when I saw it, we had blizzards and gales there that night and there were aurora visible in the UK - typical I thought!  (Though I was very pleased for you!)  Cool

I did get some flicks tho - the best aurorae i've ever seen tbh - they were casting shadows and was actually bright enough to read some leaflets that were in my coat pocket... I'm a bit knacked right now, but are definitely going to get the flicks out of the camera before bed - if I haven't fallen asleep infront of the TV i'll get them posted asap  Wink
