OK, here's the results of processing the AVIs shot in hydrogen alpha this lunchtime. (Additional delay due to residents association monthly meeting!)

The area around AR1045:

2010 Feb 08, 1312 UT. Solarscope 60, x2 barlow (f/16), DMK41.

AR1045 in closeup, with a flare cracking off:

The humungous quiescent filament:

Impressive images Brian yet again, well done on catching the erupting flare!

There's another new cycle spot group on the SE limb now - things are getting very busy on the Sun. Looking forward to another visual on Tues. Like these thread titles - nice and specific  Smiley
