More solar observing today with ETX90mm. Gorgeous day, very sunny, crystal clear blue sky, calm, dry, crisp, trans 9/10 and regular brief moments of excellent seeeing. Observed active regions 1045, 1046 and 1047. 1045 looks impressive and full of flare potential, the group has changed dramatically since yesterday's observation with complex pores between the 3 main umbrae, and these look bigger today. Estimated count was 27 spots/pores in this group alone at 15.30 UT.

Yes, it was a nice day ... pity the cloud seems to be regrouping as dusk falls.
I got a couple of high res images of AR1045 about 3 mins apart showing quite a large flare ... images are being processed & I should be able to post them shortly.
