I took these  Bewicks  (the last one is a Shell Duck) at the weekend at Slimbridge but the computer has been down for two days showing only this on the screen  ?

At 4.30pm today it  was ok again. I'm disappointed with the wing position  of the pair, just another flap and it would have been a much better photo. My Canon 40D does 6.1fps. ...time for the 8fps.  Canon 7D I think. All taken at about 400mm with the 100-400 lens.

Another excellent collection. The "water skier" is particularly excellent!

All of them are excellent John, great focus and clarity. I especially like # 2. Good job!

Excellent work John, love that first one, although there's plenty good about the others too. I rather fancy the 7d myself, but funds do not permit...

Many thanks folks. The water skiing swan  (at 1/800 sec. btw.) made it into today's local paper Lol.
