Got some snaps of the brightest Full Moon of 2010 and the brightest Mars until 2014 sitting next to each other in the sky last night...



Here's the Martians coming to visit us


And that's M44, the Beehive, in between the two

Good job Paul, the first one with the patchy clouds is very nice!, they were both quite a sight last night.

The bright Moon and snow on the ground last night made for a stunning sight in the country, I've never seen a landscape look so bright before!

Great shots on an event that I unfortunately missed due to rain. That's an especially amazing shot of the Beehive with the Moon being so bright. Good job Paul!
