First up, just a single exposure with the 450d, a 2xTC on the C80ED on a camera tripod



Then onto a mosaic

Skymax 102, QHY5v (Camera), HEQ5

The lines appear to be related to the gain of the camera, it was misty, so I had to increase the gain, and the lines got worse... I'm not sure what can be done about them... perhaps shooting darks and flats will help :thinking:

I will second that! - great images John, all of them. The first 2 are striking with great detail and sharp focus!

Looking again, you can tell the time difference the first two were taken really well around Aristarchus and Mare Humourum region.  Nice!  Grin
