Oregon Winter

I've been watcing with amazement the reports and images by the forum members on the extreme weather conditions in Britain and Ireland the past several weeks. Even Tyler's photos are extreme but Nebraska is a little more use to those conditions. All I have to report from Oregon is 20" of rain in the first 17 days of January, extreme even for us. Had very little chance to get any photography in, just enjoying the forums contributions. I did get out a couple of times between storms. Things are still very green here, not the white everyone is use to.

A different world. I do like the pelicans - they obviously like sticking together.

Here's some extreme  snow conditions for you to look at,Richard. They were taken  on the top of the Yorkshire Moors in the NNE of England ,  they are hills, on average ,at  1300 ft. above sea level.

Hi Richard, those Pelicans have made for a splendid sight!, I would love to see something like that over here. Thanks for posting images of the latest conditions over Oregon, which are always a treat to see.
