A fresh morning with mostly clear skies, occasional lumpy cloud, cool with a strong northerly wind.
The Sun's disc is threatening to become spotless - I was
just able to see the trailing spot of AR1039 in white light, and there was a faint patch of faculae, but CaK was needed to show it convincingly

Proms, however, were located at all four "diagonal quarters"
