Just thought you might like to see some photos of the floods we had down here in Dublin last weekend.
The River Santry is normally nothing more than a large stream. Here's what 52mm of rain in 90minutes does to a little 'Stream' The footbridge pictured is my normal routh to the train station!
Normally the water level is about 6 feet below this footbridge
The kids took advantage of something a bit different to have some fun.
The river broke banks at acouple of places thankfully the footballpitch is below the level of the houses in the area.
