I had noticed early yesterday morning that the Moon and Venus were going to be relatively close companions this morning. So I got up extra early and waited for the Moon to rise above the mountaintop to my east. It had been crystal clear all night of course. All the while from the west there was a weather front racing in. Who would win? Either way, Mother Nature did!! If I'd have gone to my favorite spot on Cape Sebastian I would have been taking images for an hour, but I did salvage these two from the clouds at my place.

Excellent images Richard, and a nice little story to compliment them too.  Smiley

Seen them both this morning, they were a lovely sight, although not as close as you got them.
