Cheers guys. Mark, there's no macro here, they were all too big or too fast. They are all just in close with either the kit lens or the 55-250

Those are stunning shots. There is so much detail in no. 5 too. I wonder what the snake is,the last one. ? In the `Stephen Fry programme last night, 'The Last Chance To See' they were in Brazil looking for the Manatee and they saw a green snake exactly like that one.

Thanks very much John. The snake is a Green Tree Python... It was shot with the kit lens...

Might not be the same one then . The green tree python lives in Indonesia Aussie and Papua New. Guinea. I checked the programme (googled) and can't see that clip or reference to it but it was curled round a branch exactly like this one. I'll keep trying though.

10 out of 10 for persistence John... it does look very very similar doesn't it.

Fantastic shots John. We used to own one of those Lizards in the first image. They can change colour depending on the temp and the colour of the rock they bask on. The image of the Snake sends shivers up my spine!

Cheers Martin. We only saw them on similar looking rock so didn't notice any colour changes, bet that would have been cool.
