I came really close to getting zapped today. I was actually quite scared for a while. I take alot of chances on high ground when these things occur. The LCD screen on the camera is flickering so still damp. Got all my images and video off it though which is great. I have put it in the hot press to dry out.  I'm praying it will recover. Mobile is not so good, it's on but the buttons don't do anything. Think I can salvage the rubbish images and video clips from it though. When I was running up the Coleraine road it was like running through a shallow river. That gust front was mean - I was glad to have been out and seen it from the best possible place.  John and his brother also seen it.

ESTOFEX have another t-storm forecast out for us on Tues. Will wait and see what Tony says. Met Office have issued a severe weather warning for us. I hope tommorow is just as exciting. Perseids are not looking good but I am optimistic for Tues night.

Thanks for the local weather reports guys.
