Great pics Jonathan!, that's a huge shelf for sure and nice whale's mouth under it too!

This evening Ryan Mc Donald and I observed a distant funnel cloud from Maghera.  It was must have lasted 10 or 15 min's duration and was like an inverted cone. It went up then back down again twice then got tilted into a horizontal position by the updraught, it curved a few times then turned straight as a ruler. It was a good distance away in the NE but was an obvious funnel. The cell which produced it was the most photogenic I have seen this year, a row of explosive updraughts towering into the sky at incredible height all catching the lowering Sun. A fantastic end to 3 days of action!
