I wasn't even chasing today but while driving home from Minnesota we intercepted a tornadic supercell NW of Iowa's capital city. I was really bummed I couldn't chase this weekend, but it ended up okay After I got home there were some Lightning ops I took advantage of too full report and images here... http://www.tonightssky.org/accounts/060709.htmlI'm getting ready for a BIG chase day tomorrow, things are looking really good in SE Kansas... this is probably the best setup I'll chase all year.

Hey Tyler, those second two shots are quite dramatic enough - great use of the traffic trails on the highway!

Tyler, really stunning stuff, I love those lightning captures above the road with the c-g bolts dead centre on the road itself. Impressive stuff!. That's two very successful chases you have had in close succession . Sorry to hear about your Grandfather by the way. Good luck on your next chase and thanks for sharing your images. I enjoyed the account.

Fantastic shots. The ones you take with the trail lights are awesome. Seems like I went too early this year. May 10 next year.
I think I'll delete the 'weather photo' I've just posted... lol.
