Those are great Steven!!, dramatic stuff. Nice SN arcs in the 2nd one. I like the dark base on that cell to the R in the 1st image  Smiley

John, the lens is a Nikon 10.5mm f2.8 Fisheye and I have slightly cropped to take the curve away...

Both images are 7 to 9 shots @ 1ev steps combined in photomaitx and finished on CS3.. (HDR)
Handheld...

They're both excellent photos and at first I thought no. 1 was the outstanding one but a second look makes any choice too difficult, nicely framed too.
