From Tony Gilbert

Slight Risk of Strong Thunderstorms Southern, central UK regions and Wales.12Z-21Z

Slight Risk Weak Tornado Development central south same period

Very unstable air is progged to feed northward into UK from the continent. Surface temps expected to initiate convection across the SE by early afternoon. Dry mid level air enhances potential instability. 500 mb moderate jet marginally establish updraft / downdraft separation and hense the risk of stronger isolated cell development. Further risk of convergence zone tornadoes central south within confluent zone.
