Just to clear the air! For those who haven't seen this before, I captured this from my house in Larne on 2nd July 2006 - it's a 8 sec exposure at f5.6 ISO200 with 18-70mm zoom somewhere in the mid-range. Of course I took several exposures but this was the one!  Enjoy! |

I absolutely love that image. Picture perfect C-G with branches. It's been a long time since we seen storms like that. You never know what might happen in the near future... Thanks for sharing that inspirational image Paul.  |

Great capture Paul, there were some violent thunderstorms in Dublin on Monday night, I didn;t hear them myself but was told the next day.
I love photos of lightning strikes as it really demonstrates the power and beauty of nature.
