Just to clear the air!

For those who haven't seen this before, I captured this from my house in Larne on 2nd July 2006 - it's a 8 sec exposure at f5.6 ISO200 with 18-70mm zoom somewhere in the mid-range. Of course I took several exposures but this was the one!

I absolutely love that image. Picture perfect C-G with branches. It's been a long time since we seen storms like that. You never know what might happen in the near future...

Great capture Paul, there were some violent thunderstorms in Dublin on Monday night, I didn;t hear them myself but was told the next day.

I love photos of lightning strikes as it really demonstrates the power and beauty of nature.
