Frontal system broke for a period there now and let the Sun in to do it's work. Huge convective clouds embedded within, with high level rock hard towers. A whole mass of convection/cells crossed over from S to N with extremely low level complex dark bases not far from the ground. The whole underside had a lowering with obvious rotation and cloud fragments being sucked from the base down to the ground in an obvious fashion. It was a very impressive scene. Felt like it came close to a funnel or TN!!. Got loads of images.
So far, the t-storm potential for today has been removed but some of the convective maps are showing the correct conditions for tornado development in N. Ireland. What out for any Cbs today!
