We had some snails in the fish tank, now replaced after they died. They are called Onion Snails and they keep the tank nice and clean as they eat all the algy. But the shell is quite interesting... All shot with the Raynox DCR250 on the 55-250. 1) The Shell (this was about 1:1) 2) Close up detail (about 2.5:1 if I got the ratio the right way around...) 3) More close up detail

LOl..don't like the last one,John - it's all gooey LOl . When I get everything sorted with my scope and I'll start looking at macro-I've mentioned it before I think but there isn't enough time in the day atm.

John, I'm only getting caught up now. Those are very intresting shots. I like the first one but the last creeps me out a bit lol. Great photography though, you are a very good observer of nature!
