As I am in the process of decommissioning my desktop PC which is now five years old and creaking towards the end of its useful life, I am going through all the stuff on it. I came across this brutally processed shot taken from my back garden in September of last year - this would be a stack of several with a lot of light pollution removed.

I am fairly certain that what remains is quite a lot of Barnard's Loop. I can't quite see the Horsehead in amongst all the mush, but the Flame, M42 and the Running Man are all visible to the extent of being overexposed!

And that reminds me - it can't be all that long until we see Orion again!
