This is typical weather when out for a nights viewing in Dublin.
Make the most of it and keep the camera to hand. Shots taken before the snow in January.

Wicklow Mountains near the Sugarloaf looking towards Dublin City. Taken at 22:35, too dark to focus properly. Canon 350D 50mm @ F2.8 ISO100 8 sec exposure.


Shot in pitch darkness at 21:43, too dark to focus.. Canon 350D 50mm @ F2.0 ISO800 8 sec exposure.

Very nice colour in those John & like the cloud structure in the first one. Focus looks good too.

John, those are two great images for a first post. Despite the light pollution from Dublin I think the colour and structure to those clouds look very dramatic!. I enjoyed going through your images on the photo link, those were good crepuscular rays you caught  Smiley
